On the subject of bike lights
i put my modulator on the back of my headlight (not alot of finger room, and was a challenge, but did it!)
i drilled a tiny hole for the sensor and am pleased with the whole situation.
i really notice a difference. cars rarely pull out in front of me. if im following a decent driver, i turn it off because i am sure it can be annoying. if im following an azzhole i use it and they usually pull over cuz they think im a cop or at any rate it seems to scare them enough to drive right or get out of my way! LOL!!
i also have one on my H*nda shadow, and that sensor is zip tied to the mirror.
i also have modulating brake lights, and bright led brake lights made by raymelosh@yahoo.com
These are very effective and very visible. email him for info. he and his wife are in their 70's and they did alaska 2 up on his R1100, 11,500 miles, this summer. he also has an airhead.
Ray built these lights and sells them, so drop him a note. He lives in michigan.
Since we are on the subject of lights, and you can laugh at me, but i put red led strips under the tank on my H*nda. it looks very cool AND makes me more visible at night. im thinking about putting them on my F650GS.. its yellow, so i would put yellow lights. i have heard them called feather lights, pussy lights, and a few other terms i can't think off. wondering if any of you have used them.
