To catch you up!

Five pictures of the USS LEXINGTON in Corpus Christy's harbor. It is totally amazing! I was very surprised at how large it is! Everyone should tour this boat while in the area!!! I even got a ride in a flight simulator of a WW II War Plane! Above is my neighbor with some fish he caught: a shark and some redfish! Above are my two rides! My cool $10 pawn shop bike, and my great little kayak! This is my crab lady friend catching crabs in Little Bay in Rockport, TX.

Lady Cecile

I have had the fine opportunity to spend time on this 100 year old boat in the harbor! It has been restored and will sail in May, to Key West, Quebec, then all five continents!

Sunrise on the TX Gulf

Beautiful sunrise on Aransas Bay, here in Rockport, just outside my window at Surf Court Motel where I am spending the month. Another perfect day in paradise!

I'm in Texas!

I've been birdwatching at Aransas Wildlife Sanctuary, have seen awesome birds, and greatest of all, the Whooping Cranes!!! What a great life thrill! I am staying at Surf Court Motel in Rockport, Tx., with a seaside room, and waking to waves, a beautiful sunrise, and dolphins playing outside my window! It is incredibly inexpensive! This area is a small laid back town, and under the average cost of living. I am now proud to be a winter Texan!!! I have a kayak, and a $10 pawn shop bicycle, which I can ride comfortably all day!!! Rockport is totally flat!!! I have spent time in Austin with my dear daughter, Lisa, but the fast lane just isn't my thing. She works and is very busy with her sports. We have had great quality time, and I will just be less than 3 hours away as I am about to return to Rockport for a month. Lisa and I will definitely spend time together in April, when she has free time. Here is a beautiful link from some fellow renters/tenants at Surf Court. They pretty much describe my journey, too. http://web.mac.com/floydmel By the way, Blake welcomes visitors, and is a great host! Please still stop by Ann's Chateau when in Ky!!! I am on another computer, so when on my own laptop, I will add pictures.
